Floris App Reviews

This is a fun little puzzle game that ought to appeal to fans of Tetris and Column type games. My only real complaint is that it requires iOS 6, which is only on one of my three iOS devices, basically my iPod Touch 5. I would have enjoyed this much more on my iPads bigger screen. Theres really nothing here that older devices couldnt have handled and intentional or not, this does give the feeling of users of older devices as being snubbed.

My boyfriend recommended this game to me and I was surprised by how much I liked it. I *love* the music. Its mesmerizing. The spinning wheel is a neat twist on Tetris style block stacking, and the visuals are very pretty. Nice design!

Downloaded it today and got hooked in right away. Fun gameplay, not overly complicated (a plus). Looking forward to a less crappy flight to Dallas tomorrow thanks to passing some hours with Floris!

Great development; cannot believe it does not cost more.

A bit of a learning curve, but I caught on. Great visuals and music. I wish there were more feedback sounds for accomplishments. Its fun to play!

This game has changed my life

Addictive. Visually creative. Great music.

It took me a couple sessions with Floris to see what makes it so special. I jumped straight in without even looking at the guide. Dont make the same mistake I did! Watch the tutorial videos, work your way up to 4 colors, and lose yourself in this great game. Cycle through the different music tracks each time you play. Some evoke Yann Tiersen at his best while others definitely take me back to childhood memories of Dr. Mario, Columns, and Tetris. Seriously, get this game. Its pretty boss.

Once I start playing I have a hard time stopping. Great way to make time waiting pass much more quickly. Its just a fun game, you can start out easy just matching color lines(blooms) and eventually up your strategy going for circular color patterns (blossom). I love that you can start off with only 2 colors to allow you to master your strategy, and then add additional colors as your skill level increases. And on top of all that, the music is pretty darn awesome too :)

I am a big fan of games like Tetris and Dr. Mario, so its no surprise that I fell in love with Floris, too. Game play can be as simple as creating columns of five of the same color or as complex as stacking multiple "blossoms" (rings of the same color). Your score is commensurate with your ability to execute strategically difficult placements of "petals." The colors are vibrant and the music is great, both of which are added bonuses. Love it!

I really enjoy this game, but after a few minutes it slows down so much that it stops and seems to crash. Have to wait for several seconds for it to "catch up". This really spoils gameplay for me!
